
A tale fit for a pyrates’s library…
Books and stories about the mysterious and barely explored areas of our World were very popular in the early 18th century. Explores were the superstars of their day, and what they offered in the way of knowledge was eagerly eaten up by the general public. Captain Edward Cooke’s book is no exception. What makes this particular book intriguing is the pirate connection…a small fragment of the tome was recovered from Blackbeard’s sunken flagship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge.
