The Call of Cthulhu (1928)

Monsters of epic proportions and age, evil rulers of the Universe who sleep…waiting to rise from the sunken city in which they are entombed…Cthulhu waits to return…and rule mankind with his evil whims…Cthulhu, Cthulhu…Cthulhu!!!

H.P. Lovecraft “crafted” perhaps his most famous story in 1926, but it was not published until 1928.  Weird Tales immortalized Lovecraft by running this tale in the February issue, and Cthulhu has been etched in the clay of literary fame ever since.  Throw in some voodoo, cannibalistic Eskimos, ancient cities and glyphs, along with an NOPD investigator…and you have one hell of a good story.

Enjoy!
